Nvidia has introduced Rubin CPX, a next-generation GPU tailored for processing massive context, up to one million tokens, for demanding tasks like video generation and AI-assisted coding. Set to launch by the end of 2026, the chip merges video decoding, encoding, and inference into one system and supports disaggregated inference architectures.
Part of the Vera Rubin NVL144 CPX rack platform, Rubin CPX delivers 30 petaFLOPS (NVFP4), 128 GB GDDR7 memory, and 3× faster attention than prior systems, offering up to $5 billion in return for every $100 million invested.
